A male student at Cathedral high school in Indianapolis, IN shot himself yesterday after an alleged suicide.
According to school administration the student called in the office and reported he was hurt.
When the principal arrived he found the boy shot in the stomach.
Falculty and students were warned to stay in there classrooms.
The incident was isolated however.
The male student walked out of school and proceeded to a gazebo where he was later found.
Students were dismissed from school promptly at 3p.m.
The boy was rushed to Wishard Memorial Hosipital where he is in stable condition.
This news comes after Cathedral celebrates it’s 83rd anniversary.
Counselors are on staff today for students, faculty, and parents.
