See more than stars in the sky in June

Saturn, Jupiter and Venus are expected to be viewable this month in the solar system.

Grab a telescope to see Venus rise. It will rise two hours before the Sun.

After sunset the planet Jupiter will appear in the South.  Jupiter sits about 10 degrees above the horizon. After dark the planet will drop low to the west.

Saturns rings will be a real treat to observe. Around midnight on June 14th the planets tilt will  27 degrees to our line of sight.

The sun will reach June solstice on June 21 carving out the first official day of summer.
